We arrived at Chateau de Seguin and were told we would not be able to make use of the pool as the pool was booked by a private group staying at the castle and moreover there was a group of italian tourists, so we were offered to stay at their sister property. A lovely man organised everything for us and we had the very best time at this other property.

We absolutely loved our stay at Chateau le Truch. We got a warm welcome, and was told the fascinating history of the chateau and the area of Bordeaux, and even got to taste the wine. The breakfast was lovely - see the photo. We wanted a private getaway, and this was perfect for us!

It was best hotel that I had stayed.
The owner was very nice and kind.
The chateau has a nice swimming pool and beautiful scenery. I felt that everything was very peaceful.

Great find - last minute we changed our minds from staying in the centre of Bordeaux to being on the outskirts. So glad we did , staying in a Chateau made our holiday experience in France more authentic. Pool was a bonus. Breakfast fresh and delicious.
The accommodation was splendid and in keeping with the era of the property. The host Rafael was attentive and was there for all our needs and requirements. Lovely family and dogs.

The location was amazing, close to Bordeaux, five minutes by car from a supermarket, but it was still in a countryside location.
Sophie, the host, was friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome.
The apartment was fabulous, if you want peace and quiet, you'll be happy, I'm a very fussy sleeper as I sleep so lightly, and even with the ceiling fan on I could sleep, it was a remote controlled one and very quiet.
A fairly busy road was close by, but I didn't hear a peep from it until the morning rush hour.
The walk in shower was lovely, much appreciated, and the outdoor decking area was a nice place to take breakfast or sit for the evening, we arrived late, so a cup of coffee out there was all we had at night.
The accommodation included a cooker and a hob, a toaster, microwave and a kettle. There was nothing missing. I would definitely stay again.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
