it is ideally located for touring the eastern part of the Somme battlefield by foot or by bike. Peronne is 20 min by car with some great restaurants. Johann and Myriam are really friendly hosts. The property itself is really spacious and comfortable and easily would suit a family of four.

That was for the first time on holiday, when I felt like at my own grandmother's home in the best way how it could be meant! Very friendly lady took care of me like I was a part of family. Delicious breakfast, very decent rooms with the magic of all good times. Hospitality and cleanliness on highest level. I hope, that my last visit was not the least! ;)

This is a really charming place to stay in a charming area. The village has its own cafe/bar and is peaceful, pretty and close to the places in the Somme you'll want to visit. The house is lovely and bright. Its slightly quirky, but fun, and has everything you need including a lovely outside area for eating and lounging about. It's behind a big gate, so is private and the owners live separately in a house at the rear so very secure. They are very friendly and helpful and speak good English.

My stay was very suitable for my needs. I wanted to be able to come and go as I pleased, just have breakfast, then walk the battlefields. My hosts were very helpful and friendly but not intrusive. A perfect place for me to explore the WW1 area.I also liked being with a French family. Perfect.
