tranquil and peaceful little hamlet run by Sarah and Harriette, both lovely human beings. the gite is very spacious, beautifully designed, super clean, fully equipped, and so relaxing (sit outside on the deck in the morning with a delicious coffee overlooking garden and fields). incredible value for money. we stayed for three nights and left completely rejuvenated!

The gite was very spacious, with a nice garden with a table tennis table, hammock, pizza oven, bbq, big kitchen and a bath tub! There was coffee and tea and you could buy fresh eggs. It’s very authentic and cute. Harriet and Sarah are very friendly, approachable and helpful. Within a 5-minute drive there’s a bakery, Aldi, big Carrefour and Action. Price quality wise this is a really good choice!

The accommodation consists of two large tents on a farm in the countryside - one a Mongolian Yurt and the other a canvas safari tent - with the very friendly and helpful hosts also on site. The safari tent was very spacious, with all of the facilities that we needed. It was good to have a proper modern toilet and shower block available to make it all a bit more comfortable. Our nine-year old child particularly enjoyed it - as well as the excitement of staying in a tent, he could run around and play safely in the extensive garden, and there were friendly dogs to stroke. All of the facilities appeared new and up to date. Our stay was very quiet and relaxing. When it comes to finding the place, note that the sign on the gate says 'Le Clos des Monts'. We took the opportunity to visit the Zoo de Jurques while we were there for a short stay before taking the ferry home from Caen/Ouistreham, which was only a 40-minute drive away. There is a minimum two-night stay. We'll be back!

We loved the location, quite, relaxing & unique accommodation. Set in beautifully kept grounds with plenty of covered & uncovered seating, so if it rained or shined, there was shade or cover. There was plenty to do, a small play park, path to a lake, boulles, jacuzzi & board/card games provided. We had a Yurt with seperate kitchen 5 steps away, had everything you needed including a single gas ring, fridge, coffeemaker. Large accommodation, very comfortable. Seperate but very good modern bathroom was 10 steps away, big shower, powerful shower & very clean. Sleeps 4 but we were only a couple. Owner/host was extremely friendly & used an app on his phone to translate into English. We had breakfast provided on one morning which was plentiful-eggs, ham, cheeses, yoghurt, bread, croissants, tea, coffee. We had another couple staying in the safari tent & we used the BBQ everynight, ate around the outside table & played cards until dark. A small amount of accommodation & with the facilities ptovided, a perfect stay for a family or couples to relax. Shop around 15 mins drive (aldi) or local villages nearby have some shops. Highly reccommend a stay.

We loved our one night stay at the Roulotte. Angèlique was very welcoming and the Roulotte is beautiful and very well equipped for our family of four. We cooked our dinner and dined outside on the lovely property. We enjoyed meeting the animals. We also enjoyed a game of boules.

Roomy family house with comfortable beds and easy parking. Well located for doing outdoor activities and we did day trips to Bayeux, Granville and Mont Saint Michel (40 mins to an hour for each).
