The breakfast buffet was fabulous. Lots of choices everything very fresh. The bread and smoked salmon especially good! The location was lovely in a beautiful atrium.
As the restaurant was closed on the night we were there we ate in the bar and the service was superb. The food was lovely small plates of charcuterie for example.
The welcome from the staff and their fantastic customer service was amazing from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We had taken our dog with us and they even checked in that we had everything we needed for her stay and she'd been comfortable.
The spa was very nice, particularly the sauna and jacuzzi.

Wonderful location, tucked into woods and hills above Chambéry. It really is a Chateau, with the full complement of period features, but with all modern facilities as well. Room and bed were both huge and extremely comfortable. Fridge, kettle and coffee machine in the room were a nice extra. Breakfast copious and tasty, including perfect scrambled eggs. We didn’t use the spa or the pool, since we only stayed on night, but they were available.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Plumbing was new and perfectly functional. Breakfast was excellent and location at 5 minutes walk from the town centre. Plenty of parking at the hotel. A nice little bar.

The hotel is newly refurbished (this is still happening, so be aware it’s noisy during the day) and the rooms are fresh and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s a 5 min walk to the train station, for those without a car and only 2 mins by foot from the town centre.

The Savoy Hotel is a lovely old fashioned hotel close to Lac du Bourget. it’s well maintained, run very efficiently and managed by a delightful family. breakfast was very good too.
A friendly family run hotel with lovely bedrooms in a wonderful location very close to the stunning Lac Le Bourget with the Marina promenade two minute’s walk away. The owner and her family are simply delightful - they could not have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful. There is a road outside which can be noisy but the owners have invested in triple glazed windows in the bedrooms. The combination of this and the traditional French shutters meant that I could barely hear the traffic at all from my room during the night.
Beautiful location right on the Lake, spectacular views, peaceful but within walking distance of restaurants when open. We would come again without the children 😂 We booked very late but the heating was turned on to ensure we were cozy.
My family planned to go on a trip near Chambery on Christmas. This place seemed perfect to stay with a nice lake view. However, on the day I received a message that the toilette is not working and the stay needed to be cancelled.
The family was lovely but the place just was not as nice as we expected - the bathroom should gave a door not jtst a curtain. But Roxanne fave us 2 fans as we were very uncomfortable
