Beautifully restored historic stone house in the center of medieval village of Flavigny. The beds were very comfortable. Perfect set up for us- two families traveling together with small children. The uppermost floor is air-conditioned. The interior courtyard/garden was lovely. The kitchen was well-stocked with all cooking supplies you might want. Steps away from a very good bakery and a famous anise candy factory. The village often smelled of anise, which was magical. The hosts are incredibly kind and thoughtful, making this a wonderful gite. Michel is a great chef so if you don’t have prior plans, it is highly recommended to enjoy the dinner here! If you love flying or hadn’t tried flying yet, check with Michel about it because the activity is only limited to guests staying here. It was a once in a lifetime experience to have the villages introduced from above and later visiting them!

The apartment was excellent and exceeded all our expectations. The beds are super comfortable, the shower was spacious and very well designed. Kitchen has everything that we needed. We did not use the jacuzzi, but I am sure this is also very good. The host was very friendly and helpful.
