Lovely clean property with plenty of communal space (kitchen, dining room, living room) all well equipped with a tasteful mix of modern and character furniture and devices. Rooms on two floors, two rooms per floor with a shared shower room on each. Rooms a good size with wardrobe , chest of drawers and a couple of chairs. Shower room a good size newly refurbished and well appointed with quality fittings and lovely soft towels. (I think the whole house has been refurbished recently and very well done). Breakfast (€15) was superb with much from, or made from, produce in the garden; figs, fruit, yoghurt, bread, local cheeses, home made preserves, home made cake and pastries, smoked fish and lovely fresh (and copious) coffee. The property is on a D road into the town so not particularly busy and about 15-20 minutes walk to the centre. Take the hosts advice on eating out he knows it all well and can get bookings when others can't!
