Above all was the breakfast with local ingredients/ products.
Loved the individual cottages. Great trampoline and climbing frame/swings for the children. Enjoyed the roaming chickens and the horses. Lovely little extras in room eg, shampoo, shower gel, water, tea. Breakfast was delicious. Next time we would stay an extra night and explore the area/ have dinner at the property.
Have stayed here a number of times. Super rooms, reception and dinner. Charming hosts. Great for children as safe grounds and lots of animals. Tennis court if you want a game. I can recommend 100%
Such a charming place - beautiful setting & great facilities for a family stay. we returned for our second visit, en route from Eurotunnel down to the Vendee. We enjoyed dinner on the terrace outside our cottage, and then a family game of tennis. really handy stopover; and very welcoming hospitality.
Breakfast was super, all we asked for was available. We had the dinner room for our entire family of 17 persons. Nice food, nothing fancy but good quality. Rooms are nicely decorated. Good beds for a nice sleep. We were there for a wedding, should stay longer than 2 nights because it really is a great place!
