The 2 bedroom apartment/room was clean and spacious. Good to have a separate room for the kids when you are staying in a hotel for 2 weeks. The food in the restaurant of an evening was exceptional. We ate there a few times and enjoyed every last bite. Our two young boys ate like Kings.
The pool at the back which is dedicated to the children is a much more serene location than the main adult pool at the front as the main house protects it from the slight noise of the road.
Also a great location if you have bikes to cycle down to the Airparc which is about 2 miles away on a country lane. There are two small cafes with very friendly people, an area where you can hire a boat to row down the river. So there is lots to do in a relatively tranquil setting between Sarlat/Beynac and Saint Cyprien.

Beautiful stay with all amenities and peace and quiet. Breakfast was excellent with delicious homemade jams and curd. However, the best part of our stay was - Frank and Nelly who were amazing hosts. We arrived a little before our check in time and Frank graciously offered to pick us up from the train station and even dropped us back when we were leaving Sarlat. He also accompanied us to the car rental place and offered help wherever possible throughout our stay. Both of them always met us with a smile and were very kind and helpful. We had a great time and will definitely choose to stay here again. Thank you Frank and Nelly for such a wonderful stay.

Beautiful location and converted chateau. Lori the housekeeper/concierge was excellent and as an ex English teacher spoke perfect English! She was very helpful with suggestions for trips, castles and restaurants. Spotlessly clean great breakfast and even spa facilities, which were used as it rained all of our time there. The proprietor was also great finding the best breakfast bacon and suggesting trips, which included a visit to Domme a beautiful local village.

Christine is a very good hostess. Nothing too much trouble. Excellent breakfasts prepared carefully with local ingredients. Rooms spacious and clean. The pool was in a good location and very clean. This is an outstanding small hotel. I recommend it without reservation.

Owners were extremely welcoming and helpful. We appreciated that they were happy to talk in English to us as our French isn't good. The place was perfect.

Perfect location, right in the middle of town. Fun to check out all that was going on in the square from our window. Spacious room, lots of charm, and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was wonderful and we ate several other meals in Bruno’s restaurant…do not miss this treat!
