The location of the property was lovely. Very peaceful & close proximity to nearby towns & villages (by car). The exterior matches the pictures. Inside it's a a nice featured property with a well stocked kitchen, and the bedrooms were a decent size. The WiFi was broken on arrival but this was fixed the next day, although the speed was only good for one device at a time.

Beautiful property full of character and very well presented with typical French decor and old furniture personalised with her own flair. Individual items have their own stories. This is a real home from home made all the more welcoming by the selection of cats and dog lazing in the evening sun. Having driven for 11 hours, Sophie's home made 4 course dinner was delicious and very welcome. Even introduced me to a local artisan beer. Utterly charming, I cannot recommend Maison d'Hôtes Archangels enough!

The host and hostess were very welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent, with homemade cakes or crepes each day as well as the standard French breakfast, so there was some variety. The room was simple but comfortable. The location was good as a base for doing the sites in Normandy.
