The location, while quite a drive from a petrol station or supermarket, is picturesque and tranquil. The food is excellent, and our visit included a lovely continental breakfast. The facilities and swimming pool were very clean. Above all, the people who run the establishment were warm and welcoming, and very patient with my bad French.

The location in a tiny village was fabulous. The narrow, twisting roads were fun to drive, but hair-raising at times. The very few locals were happy to chat, in français of course. Although over 150 years old, the house has been well renovated and is very spacious.
