The chateau (built end 13th century) is beautiful and authentic. It is surrounded by a moat and a lovely park. It is full of historic artefacts and decorations. We stayed in the donjon and it felt like stepping back in history. The 3 bedrooms are very authentic. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is modern.
It has a great swimming pool which we had to ourselves.
The breakfast was nice. We definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a stay in a historic castle.

everything was great! we really liked the lovely welcome by the hosts and that they were always available for questions. the house and the garden have everything you need and more. it is visible that a lot of thought and care went into decorating the house. we had a wonderful stay and will come back.

Lovely, clean, spacious accommodation. We had a family room and my parents had the shepherd’s hut. It was lovely for the kids to have some green to run around to break up our journey to the Vendée. The kids loved the playground and the animals. Breakfast was brilliant.
The property was clean and modern, with a comfy bed and coffee machine. A cot was prepared for our little one (as requested when booking) and the bathroom was large and spotless. As amazing as the property was, the garden area was a big selling point for us, with animals and green space to play (including football goal and kids play area). The hosts were very welcoming and friendly - the breakfast was delicious. I just wish that we had booked for more than 1 night!!
