The property is an authentic, rustic farm converted lovingly and carefully into a tasteful, comfortable and beautiful place to stay by the owners who have clearly put every effort and love into the renovation. They are also impeccable hosts who treat their guests like friends, taking care to remember our names. Maison D’Orride sits at the end of a track, with wonderful views of the Pyrenees. Leon the dog was there waiting for us, a gentle giant who my daughter loved. For dinner, we ate in the courtyard which has a beautiful acer tree. Marina made us a delicious pork, potato and aubergine dish followed by local cheeses and an amazing chocolate fondant. The wine was locally sourced. Breakfast was fresh fruit, yoghurt, breads and freshly baked cakes each morning. The pool area was spectacular with its views of the mountains and the whole property is incredibly clean and tidy. There are some “house rules” such as not to eating in rooms but with a property like this, it’s entirely fair. We loved it, thank you!

The most beautiful hidden gem - a little piece of paradise. Fantastic garden areas with lovely pool. Very tranquil. Excellent and welcoming service from start to end. What a charming B&B. The owners and hosts, Marie-Pierre and Gerard were so welcoming and friendly, without being intrusive. The property and rooms were delightful, with a beautiful garden at guests’ disposal and the room spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a highlight with regional produce including yogurts, fruits, honey, marmalades and crepes and waffles freshly and expertly cooked by Gerard. A complimentary refreshments tray was left in the lounge for guests to help themselves. We were provided with lots of useful information on nearby sites to visit, which we did. And without our hosts help, we would have missed them. What a superb place to stay with wonderful hosts. Our best stay in France by far. Thank you.
