We stayed at Bénédicte's over the long weekend. Our daughter got horseriding lessons, which was very appreciated. There is a bakery a 10-minute walk away in the village, also a pharmacy and a convenience store. The appartment we stayed in had everything we needed, from nespresso coffee machine to toaster, and in the evening we could barbecue some meat on the gas bbq. The hosts were very pleasant and accommodating, and we seriously consider coming back!

The hotel is located about 30m outside of Lille in the grounds of a beautiful chateau which is used as a wedding venue. The apartment was spacious with kitchen facilities, indoor and outdoor seating and comfortable beds. The apartment has nice views over grassland. Make sure to shop for food before arriving. Very convenient as a stop before heading south. The owner came to say hello as we arrived, it was a nice touch to meet her.

Clean. Spacious. The warm welcome by the owners and the good conversation we had we them. A table and fridge in the flat. The great breakfast with home-made yogurt and nice pains au chocolat. The situation within an traditional farmhouse building. There was also an electric car 22kW public charge point a few minutes away by foot which charged my car overnight at un unbeatable price.

This place is a little gem. You may think you are out away from everything, but things are close by. The groceries are fantastic and the network of biking trails is super convenient and connects even more small towns. There is even a remnant French bunker from the Maginot Line in a field by the trail.
