Christine and Christophe are both fantastic hosts, very welcoming. She assisted us with advice and many valuable tips about restaurants, museums and sights taking into account what you want. Very charming house in a quiet area very close to Bayex.The rooms are very comfortable, with pleasantly soft bedding and a communal corner with kettle with coffee or tea. We had a great time there, including the last evening with the hosts! Absolutely recommended as a base for the Normandy beaches! Excellent location for exploring the Normandy area and Bayeux. The gite has everything required for your stay. The bed was comfortable, and the water hot in the shower. We also had use of a washing machine. Be aware that the bathroom is downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs, so this might be tricky for elderly guests.
