I was made very welcome. The facilities were modest, as expected. I had cycled 120 miles from St Malo to get there that day and the modest sounding cold platter laid out for me was filling, & fantastic in every way.

This is quite an incredible place and feels much like hanging out in a wonderfully spacious tree house. It's well equipped and comfortable and offers a lot of space in which to unwind and relax. The bedroom is quite zen-like and would be the ideal room for morning yoga. The host Jean Pierre is wonderfully welcoming, warm and friendly and surely has many tales to tell of his admirable efforts to build this place solely out of wood. And if you're a cat lover, you might just come across Peu Peu (I think that's how it might be spelled), super friendly and laid back.... which gives you another clue on what to expect at this quite special place settled in calm surroundings.
