WOW!!! What an experience. To all us brits that come to France every year and end up staying in all those hotel chains, that is not France - it’s ANYWHERE. We enjoyed a night in the company of our host and hostess with a glass of wine as we arrived and enjoying their company throughout the evening The Manoir is still undergoing extensive restoration but ’Chambres’ that are restored will make you feel like a Viscount. The lady was very nice and so were the people who worked there. I loved the chickens and ducks and peacocks which roamed around on the grounds.

The place is grand and so tastefully decorated! We stayed for the third time and will come back for sure. The owners are great, food is excellent, the grounds are welcoming, hospitality at its best.

Lovely quiet place, a great garden to sit in, (where I heard a Golden Oriole) yummy breakfast with jams, eggs and fruit from the garden.. Super host, excellent spot for the Loire Valley. Room, including bed, was spacious and comfortable. Good bathroom. Kettle and fridge. A swimming pool although we did not try it out. Do go to Terra Botanica in Angers. We spent a day there very easily. Wish we had booked 3 nights instead of 2.
