The location was beautiful, unique castle-like building. You need to be able to climb many stairs to stay here. Village walks were wonderful with a valley view at every turn. Breakfast was delicious buffet with croissants and muesli, juice, yogurts fruits & more.

Lovely refurbished building set beside the Canal de Bourgogne. We stayed in the top, two (semi open-plan) bedroomed appartement which was built into the loft. Beautiful exposed beams, kitchen area, dining space and two double bedrooms separated by screens and furniture rather than walls. Was an ideal atmosphere for a stop-over and relaxing evening on our journey to the UK.

We were welcomed warmly even though we arrived in the night and much later than expected. In the morning breakfast was prepared for us and the apartment was cute and the beds were super comfy, just what you need after a drive that was extended by a long stint in congestion. Beautiful location too, would have loved to stay longer if time allowed. Two beautiful fluffy dogs who are friendly and soft natured. There was a hairdryer too, couldn't ask for more! Would definitely stay again.

Where do I begin? From the time we entered on the long and winding drive, we were enchanted. We arrived just in time for an incredible dinner served outdoors. The Abbaye itself is certainly extraordinary. The grounds are begging to be explored. We rode bicycles and enjoyed discovering a number of beautiful features of the property. Lovely hotel great stopover. We had a family room it was very clean and spacious. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but it looked very busy. We only stayed for one night on our way home but would have liked to have stayed longer.
