The cute village of Chapaize has two amazing restaurants and a tiny but fine sunday market. Definitely a recommendation. We stopped over, but Le Chateau is perfect for a longer break. Beautiful location, very relaxing and peaceful. Excellent breakfast with home made cake, jams and pancakes. Very welcoming and accomodating hosts, (no problem to leave early on Sunday moring), who provided good restaurant adresses for dinner nearby. Thank you!

This 55 m2 duplex apartment will accommodate 4 people, ideally a family with two children. A fantastic gite with delightful and quirky gardens with the bonus of a swimming pool. The huge outside area was especially good for relaxing, barbeques and dining. Because we were there in autumn we had the added advantage of being able to pick home grown produce. We loved the sense of nature all around us with cats, chickens and ducks. Our host Kathy was supportive, friendly and helpful.

Cédric is a wonderful, kind host and made me feel very welcome. They have a garage for bicycle parking. The room was simple but very clean and comfy. The location is excellent for cyclists along the wine route. The location is in the countryside, not in town, so it is quiet and peaceful, but keep in mind it's not walking distance to anything else. The classic Burgundian dishes Cédric serves at the restaurant are delicious and we're a highlight of my stay! They have an excellent selection of full and half bottles of wines from the region. I highly recommend dining outside, it is such a peaceful place.
