Beautiful place. Even if it is a castle, the place is relaxed, even a bit quirky, easy to feel at home. Very comfortable bed, spacious room, everything works well and it was very silent at night. Very nice facilities to pass time, with games, pool and tennis court.

It is well situated next to the river: since we stayed there years , When the rooms were plain and the dining room all clean linen ,old-fashioned white jugs with coffee and hot milk, traditional and delicious food , it has been completely modernised: The ground floor is now dominated by the bar and small lounge area with a smaller dining room and large open kitchen. The food was expensive and very disappointing -not good value.

I made a reservation at 11 pm because the house I had rented didn't live up to its promises. I was hoping to find a clean, small, and cozy room, and that's exactly what I found. Plenty of parking. The breakfast was above and beyond for a 3-star hotel. I would definitely stay again, and the 7.2 rating doesn't do this place justice for a 3-star hotel, unless people are expecting 5-star amenities from a 3-star.
