As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
We booked the hotel last minute as a prior booking cancelled at very short notice. The hotel is as described, easy to find, comfortable, clean, great location. The hotel is family run, they were absolutely lovely and so helpful. The owner took time out to tell us about Cauterets history the history of local buildings and whilst only he spoke English it was easy to communicate. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Photo is taken outside the front of the hotel.
The spa was nice and there is a cheerful family atmosphere and good games in the café. Good, if pricey, breakfastand and most of the staff were pleasant.
The house is amazing! Great location, pretty big rooms and spacious living room. It also has 2 Bathrooms. It is ideal for 2 families. The 2 parking spaces are also a plus for commodity.
Great staff, perfect location, amazing views and a beautiful pool to recover in after a day's hiking.
The rooms aren't 5 star luxury but functional, reasonably sized and clean. All in all, excellent value for money.
Cauterets is a pleasant place and the town is quite fun and there are trails all over to walk. We drove to Gavernie and Pont d’Espagne easily enough. We did not like anything about the apartment except the location, though we did have to drive up the hill to town. It is not a flat route but is walkable if you want.
Location was super. Quiet but very easy and quick to get to the centre of Cauterets. Well equipped apartment - ideal for our family of 3 although it would be a squeeze for a bigger group. Apartment was perfect for a short stay and we loved the town of Cauterets and the surrounding area. We used the pool in the complex and had it to ourselves! We would certainly stay here again.
Historical old family run hotel with artefacts displayed throughout the hotel. Full of character with a lovely garden area which has a family of turtles!.The food is excellent..traditional french food cooked very well . Highly recommended to stay if you visit the beautiful town of Cauterets.
