Superb value chateau hotel. Flexibility of kitchenette and plenty of outside tables meant that we did not have to drive into Gaillac every evening for diner (it is 5km out). Lovely vineyard walks, huge rooms and swimming pool surrounded by vines. Buy the chateau wine at recption as it is excellent.
L’Ancienne Auberge dates from the 17th century and is located 2 km from the National Forest of Grésigne, you will be welcomed there by a couple of hoteliers Greg and Sophie.

A very interesting old building which had been a Hostellerie since the 14th century, lovingly restored. We slept in a room once slept in by Francis 1st. Excellent breakfast. We didn't get the chance to meet Cyril but his communication by WhatsApp was excellent. Be aware that the access to the property is via a pedestrian only route involving a lot of steps.

This is one of the best apartments I ever started in, very homely and complete. On arrival late in the mist but earlier then I told the owner I called him and turned up within a few minutes to open the apartment. We were all surprised to found such a nice and warm homely place, the wood stove was burning which the owner did before our arrival. Very nice indeed!
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
We needed the accommodation on very short notice, along with twin infants, and the hosts were very accommodating. The apartment was fantastic, great little kitchen and Bathroom, comfy bed and access to laundry facilities. In a great little town as well with a parking space just outside.
We were delighted with our stay. Our room was as described.
The general facilities were better than described and M Marc the patron was very helpful throughout.
