Marion and Trevor were exceptional hosts. They were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They have a good knowledge of the area and gave me some great tips. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful, with great coffee. The location was perfect for me and not too far from Carcassonne or Castelnaudary. There are some wonderful places to visit within a half-hour to hour's drive. I will certainly be back for another visit.

Absolutely charming. Enchanting owners that have restored a beautiful property. We had a lovely breakfast on the terrace with home made yoghurt and home made jams. The bedrooms are big with very comfortable beds and lovely linen.

Karen was an exceptional host. The chateau is gorgeous and our room was luxurious. The gardens and pool area were beautiful. We arrived after walking from Carcassone and Karen met us with cool drinks and the offer to provide a ‘simple’ dinner, an extra and very appreciated offer after our walk. We ate the delicious three course dinner in the garden, with beer and wine served as well. Our breakfast included fresh fruit salad, fresh orange juice, yogurt, crisp croissants and warm bread, with accompanying butter and assortment of jams, then coffee. Would loved to have stayed more than one night.

Nicely furbished spacious rooms, good beds, and great pool. We stayed here for the last 4 nights of our vacation in France and found it to be very relaxing with welcoming hosts. Space to play games, swimming, and sufficiently close to sights like Carcassonne. Our teenage kids also had a good time, certainly aided by the good wifi!

Totally recommend this stay. This is a unique and romantic stay. Dinner was spectacular as well, and the staff was friendly. The views of the canal is spectacular.
