Loved the reception area and the overall feel of this grand place.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Apartment was clean and sufficient for our family. We have a toddler and it was very safe. The bedding smelt amazing and the bed was super comfortable. Good location, would definitely recommend you, thanks x
Great idea, having hotel rooms in a retirement home... Make the residents feel like they're on a permanent vaccination with young families coming and going.
Everything there we needed and really fantastic value for money.
In a conventional hotel, our two bedroom apartment with lounge would have been considered a high end suite.
The swimming pool was great fun for the kids, and the electric window shutters meant my son thought he was staying in an avengers retirement home! 😂. Very easy place to stay with the dog too.
Arnaud !! he was fantastic! made our stay very happy and he was very welcoming, a great guy! all the staff were absolutely lovely. the food was brilliant and the drinks were affordable and lovely.
there was a pool table there and the hotel was family friendly.
Decent family-friendly hotel in Calais 15 mins. from the tunnel. Suited us perfectly for an overnight stop. Night concierge was particularly friendly and helpful. Kids especially liked the breakfast which had loads of choice.
everything was immaculate
there was a brand new travel cot on arrival and high chair ready for the baby. There was also colouring books , colours and cards to play with for the kids.
We would definitely stay here again! The staff was amazing. They gave us milk for our baby when the store was closed and they gave a ride to the ferry when the taxi was unavailable! For a family travelling that made all the difference when dealing with tired kids from walking all day.
The rooms themselves are ok. Clean. But nothing fancy. Bright colors which the kids loved and a view of the sea when I loved.
Location was great! A little bit of a walk for the city Center, but right on the beach.
On paper, it is ticking a lot of boxes: spacious room, separate beds in the family room with a kitchen including a microwave and kettle for warming up our child’s baby bottle.
