We were travelling through Normandy visiting invasion beaches etc and had no idea that this farmhouse saw action in WW11. Emilie is very friendly and knowledgeable on the events that took place here. A great stay with superb breakfast.

Our hosts were warm and welcoming. We rented Le Petit Columbier house.. It overlooked the lake. Seeing, talking to and feeding the resident Geese, Ducks and the baby ducklings was a real highlight and a bonus for us all. Great facilities available (eg BBQ's, personal outside spaces and lounge chairs)
We loved this property, from the tree-lined avenue that brought us past the horse farm and paddocks, right through to the finer details in the gite itself. Beautiful and spacious house - full of character and very well furnished & equipped. The surrounding gardens were stunning. Kids enjoyed meeting the horses and taking the rowing boat out on the lake. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The location is stunning and perfect for a family holiday. It was wonderful for to see the horses in the fields outside our gite and the equestrians training the horses. The gite is well equipped with BBQ and even bikes you can freely use.
This was definitely one of the best gites we ever stayed in. Fantastic for kids - they can play outside, with sweet dogs, lots of horses around and a safe and beautiful parc,were they can run freely.No noise, huge gite with a big kitchen , very kind host ( thank you Caroline for taking good care of us)!
Out appartment was huge and set on a beautiful porperty. We received a generous welcome basket with croissants, fruit, eggs, milk. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. Our host was very friendly, we received a tour of the stables, we were able to borrow board games, and the biggest attraction for the kids were the 3 friendly dogs. There were bikes and scooters avaiable for the kids as well as fishing poles. the kids caught 2 fish in the small lake on the property. We loved the whole experience.
