We had real problems finding this property with our Satnav and phone GPS both trying to send us down footpaths and across fields where there was no road! Eventually we found our way in and after a wait were greeted by the host. Our room was very tastefully decorated, had a good bed, bedding, towels and a great ensuite bathroom. We had a great night’s sleep here. The setting is lovely with gardens and fields surrounding the building and an outdoor balcony with seating.

Super-equipped house, newly renovated. It had a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable shower, comfortable beds, 3 TV sets, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, washing machine.
Covered patio outside with table and chairs. There is a quiet rural area around and a few hundred meters away behind the trees the charming town of Meillac.
We spent our stay in it very comfortably.

This was our second visit to the beautiful Hotel de l'Abbaye and it didn't disappoint. The environment is so relaxing and we particularly liked the heated swimming pool which is located in the garden with a few sun loungers. The room was ground floor, number 1, very spacious with a desk and sitting area, not much of a view from the windows but very peaceful. Dining room is set menu in the evenings and quite gourmet, an interesting and tasty experience. I am sure we will be back sometime!

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. The property is located some 30 min drive away from the main attractions of the area (St Malo, Cancale). Nice and cosy, spotless clean. The property has got all the facilities a family with kids might need. Surrounded by the farms. Easy to walk around if you have a dog. Private parking belongs to the property. The Fireplace!!!! Something you need in winter/fall seasons in Bretagne along with the good company and Calvados.
Everything. Hosts were perfect and we got by with pigeon French/English good to know the basics of French if possible. Pool was a lovely addition. Location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. Dinan, Dinard, St Malo and Cancele no more than about 30 minutes away. Found a great pool with slides and lazy river, indoor and outdoor on the outskirts of St Malo, Aqua Malo which was great fun.
Beautiful house and facilities. The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly making a big effort to communicate in English with us. Beautiful pool and surrounding countryside. Clean,comfortable house with plenty of space in the garden for children to play.
The house is well equipped and comfortable - everything you need is there. We didn’t use the pool but it is a good size and clean. The grounds are amazing - lots of space to walk, play football and there’s also a table tennis table and trampoline. The little terrace outside the house was totally enclosed so safe for our dog. Lovely hosts - there if you need but also give you privacy. The wifi was very good according to our two teenagers!
Loved our stay here. Very clean house and lots of room outside for our dog. The family were so welcoming and friendly. The town is a short drive away. Also alot of main towns and cities all within 20 to 30 mins. We were there in April so the pool wasn't open but thst would have been a fantastic addition.
