Really welcoming hosts, we were on a long road trip so were very grateful that we could arrive a little earlier than the check in time and use the pool. On first impressions, not only were the hosts very welcoming but the setting is idyllic. Set in a small hamlet not too far from Beaune and on the Burgundy wine route, it's a great location. Beautiful and well kept pool in a stunning garden with amazing views. We were also able to order wine by the pool which was served with some delicious complementary charcuterie. Our room was spacious and styled sensitively to it's surroundings, it felt very "classy" and at the same time very homely with everything you could need. We had the evening meal which was delicious and probably one of the nicest meals we'd had all holiday. Served in a family style environment, we enjoyed a complementary aperitif with our hosts and fellow guests. We were given the option to dine with our fellow guests which we thought was a great idea, so we shared a lovely evening with some fellow travellers over dinner and local wine. We are English so we particularly enjoyed the company of the French guests who were able to give us advice and tips for our onward journey. After a very peaceful and restful nights sleep (very comfy bed and linen) breakfast was served on the terrace in the same area as dinner. Lots of choice, all home made, fresh and locally sourced. We were sad to leave after only one night and wished that we had booked in more! Would definitely recommend to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Felix and Alexane are very attentive hosts, full of imagination. It was a beautiful surprise to find in the room a vinyl player with our favourite records. The breakfast was generous and tasty. It was brought to us in the morning at a specific time that we asked for in a big picnic basket. Our room was full of charm, with old wooden beams, overlooking the village church and wine hills. It had everything we needed. Very clean, with a spacious shower. Felix and Alexane even prepared their own tourist guide book helping you explore the region. Bravo!!!

The accommodation is fully equipped for a self-catering holiday but the host also offers a cooked evening meal, which was excellent, and a good breakfast for those staying overnight. It is located in a pretty, quiet village between Meursault and the Montrachets so is ideal for those interested in wine and visiting Beaune. This is a beautiful house in the heart of Burgundy and perfectly located to explore the different villages and vineyards as well as the delights of Beaune. Had the weather been warmer I would have jumped in the pool but as it was the view over fields and vineyards, and wandering around the village provided a perfect distraction and relaxation.
