Perfect. We were delighted to be the first guests to stay at La Gérouardière farm house. It is spacious, homely and very well equipped. It is an ideal place for a family stay with a secure garden, garden furniture, swings, lots of board games, table football, a PS4, a 10 seat dining table and everything else you might need. The farm house is set in a tranquil rural location with cattle grazing in nearby fields, has extensive views but is just a mile or so from the nearest village which has a good range of facilities. There is a wonderful cycle and walking trail nearby along a former rail line. Within easy driving distance are various sights to visit including Mont St Michel. All in all the farm house and location is the perfect place for a vacation. We only wish we had stayed longer.

Lee and John are amazing hosts an keep their property very clean and well maintained. We got a very warm welcome and advice on what to see in the area. The house is suitable for a family and is dog friendly. The area around is amazing. We could not enjoy it too much because of a chilly weather but in summer it should be amazing to have breakfast or dinner out. The house is rather far from any stores or restaurants - you need to drive. We were specifically looking for that, so this was a big plus for us but may be a minus for someone.

We had a fantastic stay at Maison la Touchardiere. The accommodation and grounds were stunning and set in a beautiful location. The gite was immaculate, well equipped and spacious for all the family. It would also be ideal for separate family groups. Jacqueline and Mark were excellent hosts, providing lots of local information, suggestions for restaurants and things to do. Everything we could have wanted was catered for, thoughtful extras had been provided and the welcome pack was so generous. Our girls loved the friendly dogs, cats and feeding the chickens and there was plenty of space for them to play safely in the large private garden. We highly recommended Maison la Touchardiere for a peaceful, relaxing holiday and as a base to explore the beautiful surrounding area. We look forward to returning soon!

Our stay with Cecile and Patrick was absolutely wonderful. Their hospitality is outstanding. Their house is beautiful, well renovated, well equipped, and has everything one might need while being on vacation. Our children loved the outdoor pool and playroom, and we enjoyed the landscape, the style and the quietness. Cecile is an amazing cook and thinks of every detail, both in her display and decoration of meals and in how they tastes! She was incredibly accommodating to all of our needs -- our son doesn't eat gluten and she cooked special dishes for him, which is not an easy thing to find in France! It is clear that Cecile truly enjoys hosting people in her home, cooking for them and making sure they have a perfect experience of countryside France. She had good advice for us on things to do in the area, and we hope to return soon! Highly recommended!!!
