Wonderful gem with very friendly and helpful owners. Room (Sensualité) was very spacious, with a great setting and infrastructure , large and comfortable bed and huge bathroom with nice bathtub (and decorating lights). Breakfast is great and we appreciated the personal approach from the owner, making our stay outstanding. We also liked the booklet in room with information in French and English, with pictures from the other rooms, restaurant recommendations (5 minutes drive into the lovely town) and other useful information. We stayed for one night on our way to Auvergne, and will for sure stay here again on a future opportunity !

The staff were so friendly and attentive. Hotel itself is beautiful and set in a fantastic location in the centre of the town. It is beautifully decorated and spotless clean. There is private secure parking which was particularly important for us. We loved everything about Lá Chaumiere and its staff.

Located in a small quite town the property is owned and operated by the owners. Both the rooms and the restaurant they also run downstairs. Stayed in room #4, suspect all the rooms might be different, they are upstairs and there is no elevator. The other thing to note for some people is the bathtub, the sides are very high off the floor; not sure many elderly persons can safely get in. Breakfast is extra, 8 euros per day; its convenient and included 2 croissants, a piece of French bread, orange juice, coffee and fruits. Had dinner a couple of times and it was very good, service was also very good with the owners being the cook and servers as well.
