As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The chateau building itself is beautiful the room was big and there was plenty of space, not charging for kids beds is also a plus, the location is quite good and local to some lovely restaurants.
Gorgeous castle hotel. Very spacious rooms, suitable for a family. The surrounding park and garden are very large and offer lots of activities for children and adults alike. The hotel and its staff really go the extra mile: the breakfast, for example, has freshly prepared fruit salad (many 4-5* hotels will serve defrosted fruit salad). It was one of the top stays of our holiday, while not among the most expensive.
This hotel is simply a gem and we feel lucky to have been able to discover it as the memories will stay with us forever. The owner is extremely genuine in his hospitality and our kids loved the trampoline and activities he had set up. The room was extremely comfortable and spacious, and a big thumbs up for the water pressure! It was peaceful to swing under the tree and just take it all in. Merci!
Probably the nicest Gite we stayed in whilst touring Normandy for 10 days. This property exceeded expectations, being clean, well maintained, cleverly designed for families and up to date. Very well equipped but not cluttered. It was spacious.
Very nice message regarding being able to take a book from the property if you want to read it, as books are meant for reading and sharing. Could easily have stayed a week in this property. Appreciated the complimentary cider and biscuits left for us. Our host spoke English too.
