We had a great stay at l’auberge. Spacious room with a fridge, baby bed at our disposal, shared bathroom, nice garden. We appreciated the warm welcome and the enthusiasm. Big plus: the small playground right behind l’Auberge for our children (2y, 4y). Great to have dinner on the terrace of the restaurant downstairs. Great food - 3 courses menu for 20 eur (!) - all served with a big smile and a nice chat. Breakfast - 8eur - and a small car wash 👌 before leaving. Couldn’t have been better, and will certainly return when we travel south again.

We received a warm welcome from the host. The location was perfect for cycling and visiting the area. The hills were very challenging, not for the inexperienced cyclist unless you have an electric bike. A local village store was available for food essentials and a Intermarche was located 3 km from the house.

Location: Close to A20, good access from the motorway, it was some noise from the motorway, but the bedroom located on the other side was quiet. A good place for an overnight stop on the way. Hotel: maintain charm and spirit of an old home. The hosts live in the same house (in the separate part). Room: large and comfortable, siting area. We have got a room located at the ground floor, other rooms are located upstairs; electric sockets: available, also near the bed; lighting: good. Bed: large and comfortable. Bathroom: actually a large part of the room divided by a light wooden partial wall. Behind the wall a modern bathroom equipped with a shower cabin (large and comfortable) and washing basin. Kitchen: shared, fully equipped, opens to a terrace with table and chairs. Breakfast: very good and very French, we had a huge selection of different homemade jams and fresh croissants. The hosts prepared a label in our native language for every jar of jam, very nice. WiFi: OK Staff: Very nice. And we were offered a jar of jam when we left the hotel. Parking: In the garden, free and safe. Covid: The hosts used mask all the time when contacted us.
