We spent 2 nights here. The room was clean and we had free wifi and electricity. The hosts are true entertainers and made sure we got the full fijian experience. From showing us around the village to hosting a kava ceremony, there was a little bit of everything. There was enough fijian cousin to feed everyone twice. The beach is beautiful, and we loved snorkeling and relaxing in the hammocks on the beach that we had to ourselves. You can borrow snorkeling gear or a kayak free of charge. We especially enjoyed being shown how they make the lovo (a fijian dirt oven) while drinking a coconut straight from the tree. All in all, we had a wonderful time.

A stay that I cannot find any fault with. If you’re struggling to decide which of the many resorts and islands in Fiji to pick from, then you really can’t go wrong with Nanuya Island Resort. From the second you arrive to the moment you leave you become part of the family. The food throughout my stay was great and for me seemed like great value and the staff go above and beyond to make every aspect of your visit as enjoyable as possible

Fantastic homestay, lovely hosts who cook amazing food so you'll never go hungry. They are in the midst of upgrading so can only get better. It's a newer homestay, so not many people know about it, making this a massive hidden gem. Highly underrated and absolutely should be a place to go if you're coming to this island.

Facing the seafront in Nacula Island, Malakati Village Beach House has a private beach area and a garden. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. All rooms include a patio with views of the mountain.

Staying in Malakati was an exceptional experience. Locals are incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. Families took turns in preparing delicious fresh meals 3 times a day. There are many opportunities to explore the island and surrounding areas such as caves, snorkeling, diving, fishing, and hiking as well as learn about Fijian culture. I would recommend this picturesque village for real travelers who are ready to experience Fijian everyday life. I am hoping to return soon.

All staff here were fantastic, so welcoming and entertaining. A special mention to Sio for being so attentive and welcoming! We had great fun every evening with them and the activities on offer were really good. Would definitely recommend the cave trip and the snorkelling is pretty good here. The room was clean and a good size and the food was great with three courses and a choice every day.

Such a beautiful, peaceful, tranquil resort. Lovely snorkelling right in front, beach front villa was fantastic. Loved the intimate feel of only having 20-25 guests at a time, is a perfect honeymoon type of resort. Enjoyed all having dinner & activities together with the other guests. Staff was accommodating and entertaining/fun to do activities with. Provided some of the best sunrise views and snorkelling locations too! The walk up to the top of the island was also a highlight of my trip.

It was like being part of a family staying at this little piece of heaven in the Yasawa islands. So many beautiful places to choose from but if you’re looking for that personal touch then this is the place for you. It will be the first place we go back when we return to Fiji. The staff went above and beyond and became more like friends. Snorkelling just off the beach was some of the best we’d seen and the walks along the sand just beautiful. Great memories and couldn’t have had lovelier people to weather out the cyclone with 😍

Amazing location, waking up each morning to the stunning view of the sea was incredible. All of the staff were incredibly hospitable, kind and welcoming. From the second we arrived until the second we left everyone greeted us and made us feel welcome. Our evenings were made even better by Ben’s beautiful singing and guitar playing. It really did feel like family.

We had a beautiful family holiday with our 2 kids (8&11), the staff were amazing and we loved all of the activities (snorkelling, school/village tour, the caves) and nightly entertainment (warrior dance, kava ceremony, live music, crab race). The food was great quality with a few stand out dishes and the kitchen were flexible in catering to dietary requirements and kids fussiness.
