The resort itself is clean and well maintained; it's very pleasant to be around and I have to mention that gardeners do a great job. Villas ("Buré") are spacious, clean and equipped with everything you might need. Open air bathrooms are superb.
The resort's kitchen was way beyond our expectations. Restaurant grade meals of various cuisines, impeccable presentation, high quality produce, generous portions.
Bars were better than expected too, classic cocktails made right, fresh coconuts and mocktails.
Spa parlour on site, we enjoyed deep tissue massage quite a lot.
The resort has a directly accessible reef, that is full of life and easy to snorkel. Guided snorkeling tours are available, including night time (highly recommend it).
Ideally located for diving, Barefoot Kuata Island Resort Island offers a bar, restaurant, swimming pool and games room.

The island is stunning, the views are too! the snorkelling is amazing so many fishes and gorgeous corals, you can even see some reef sharks !

The location for the Mantas is the best around. The staff were delightful and helpful.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
This resort was so nice. We stayed in a bungalow room which had a shared bathroom, and it was so comfortable, clean and lovely. The food is amazing!
They have a great range of daily activities you can choose from, but I was equally happy just lounging by the beach with a book.
I would also recommend this place for families with teenagers, there was a lot to keep them occupied and happy
We went as a group of 9 including kids and we all absolutely loved Octopus Resort! Such a stunning beach with lovely rustic accommodation set in beautiful gardens. The food was delicious and the staff were exceptional (special mention for Meli, Amelia and Tocksy)! We loved the pool area and our meals in the restaurant/bar. It has a great kids club and lots of fun daily activities for kids and adults. Fab snorkelling too. It’s a special place, we so hope to come back!
Excellent location. Great snorkelling and opportunity to do boat snorkelling trips. Kids club was excellent - kids could come and go as they desired and was included in the accommodation tariff. Food was excellent.
coral reef right on the beach, pool was nice. Village visit was awesome. kids activities were great and crab races were fun. make sure you book a room with a/c wifi was surprisingly good.
Octopus is a family friendly resort. It has a beautiful situation and great meals, which come with a "meal plan". It has easy to reach the coral for snorkling, the beach is beautiful, but can be choppy. It also has a swimming pool which is overlooked by the dining room. The rooms cater for both those on a budget and those with more to spend.
we stayed at one of The Point villas as a family of five and the location was fantastic. Great snorkelling, beautiful beach, food was delicious also (the kids meals were great too). If you want a beautiful beach to relax, this is the place. Also lots of activities each day for an extra cost, and some activities were free. Staff were lovely.
Great staff and management, well organised resort. the beach is beautiful and there is good snorkling right on the beach. Kids club was a good idea, they can take care of the kids all day
