They shared much about their lives and culture and went out of their way to make guests feel welcomed. For hiking and kayaking, this place can't be beat. this was by far the best accommodation i have ever been to and deserves the best rating i have ever given. the family is so incredibly nice and tries to make your stay as good as possible. you can plan activities with them and all activities are free, whereas at other accommodations in the region you would pay a fortune. we also went to the famous sawa-i-lau caves, which was an experience. the food is incredible. the man knows how to cook and teaches you about fijian cuisine for just 25 dollars a day per person. they also try to show you the culture of the local people, show you nearby villages, schools and churches. an absolute experience! i can recommend this accommodation with heart and joy to everyone. it is not just an accommodation, but a unique experience that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. vinaka and thank you for the great time!

Fantastic homestay, lovely hosts who cook amazing food so you'll never go hungry. They are in the midst of upgrading so can only get better. It's a newer homestay, so not many people know about it, making this a massive hidden gem. Highly underrated and absolutely should be a place to go if you're coming to this island.

We just spent two nights here but we could have easily spent some more time here. This is one of the most relaxing and calm homestays we've been to. The food is delicious, Illy is a great cook. The family has a great sense of humour, and they are very helpful and kind. If you need something small from the shop or an atm, there is one on the other side at Nanuya boathouse that is a 20 min walk away (one way). We stayed in the doorm room, the facilities were clean and our room was very nice and we felt really comfortable.

Absolutely wonderful. The staff were lovely and very attentive. Felt like a tailored and personal experience all the way through. Incredibly relaxed and wonderful food. A good range of activities to choose from as well. Sophie and Richard took me to scuba for the first time and they were excellent. Would recommend this place to anyone.

The staff, the atmosphere, the activity options, the lunches and dinners . Everyone knew our names. It felt like we were genuinely welcome and would be missed when gone. We experienced both a formal welcome and departure ceremony put on by staff. We are vegetarians/ pescetarians and our meal choices were always accomodated.
