Octopus Resort, hotel in Drawaqa Island

Set on 1 km of beach in Likuliku Bay, this resort offers a swimming pool and a luxurious day spa. There are 2 bars, a restaurant and a variety of cultural activities available.

The resort itself is clean and well maintained; it's very pleasant to be around and I have to mention that gardeners do a great job. Villas ("Buré") are spacious, clean and equipped with everything you might need. Open air bathrooms are superb. The resort's kitchen was way beyond our expectations. Restaurant grade meals of various cuisines, impeccable presentation, high quality produce, generous portions. Bars were better than expected too, classic cocktails made right, fresh coconuts and mocktails. Spa parlour on site, we enjoyed deep tissue massage quite a lot. The resort has a directly accessible reef, that is full of life and easy to snorkel. Guided snorkeling tours are available, including night time (highly recommend it).

Mai Sunset Island Resort, hotel in Drawaqa Island

Mai Sunset Island Resort has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Naviti Island. The accommodation features evening entertainment and free WiFi.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mai sunset resort! We had previously stayed at Barefoot Manta and Barefoot Kuata and Mai sunset was the best place we stayed at during our week holiday. The staff were wonderful, all so welcoming and friendly and we felt that they did everything they could to make our stay as great as possible. We arranged a local village tour and as the staff at the resort lived in the village, they took us there, showed us around, introduced us to their families and even made us some tea and homemade roti, it was amazing! Thank you Ili and Peter for a fantastic experience! The food at the resort was so tasty. On our first evening we were treated to a fijian lovo (underground oven) and they prepared delicious fish and chicken with kasava and salad. Unlike a lot of other local resorts there was no buffet and we could actually choose what we wanted to eat from a menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner which felt like a real treat! The resort was so quiet and peaceful, and our bure felt like being in a 5 star hotel! We felt so relaxed from day 1 and there were only 8 other guests staying at the resort during our time there who we got to know really well by the end of our stay, everyone seemed happy to be there and it led to a really positive atmosphere, something we hadn't experienced elsewhere. Joelle, the boat captain took us on out on the boat so we could snorkel in the nearby coral for free which was so kind, and we also arranged a trip to the Sawa-i-lau caves on our final day which Joelle and Peter ensured worked out timing wise with the Yasawa flyer. Overall, we had the most amazing time staying at Mai Sunset and can't recommend staying here enough! Thank you so much to Paul, Liti, Peter, Joelle, Ili, Peci, Fane, and Ane, Sota Tale!

Barefoot Kuata Island Resort, hotel in Drawaqa Island

Ideally located for diving, Barefoot Kuata Island Resort Island offers a bar, restaurant, swimming pool and games room.

We enjoyed the location of Barefoot Kuata, our bure was right on the beach and we could walk up to the summit viewpoint as well as to the back beach to watch the sunset. We saw beautiful sunsets from back beach and the bar staff were very accommodating at allowing us to take beers from the bar to the beach with us to watch the sunset.
