Villa Haaveranta was amazing, we loved everything about our stay. We arrived late at night but Petri and Kati were there waiting to greet us, with a roaring fire warming the house! The house was very comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay, even toys for our children and a few bits of food and milk to keep us going until we could get to a shop the next day. The location was incredible - it felt so safe and peaceful, and we felt very lucky to have amazing views of the Northern Lights over the lake (thank you so much to Kati for coming to let us know when they were visible!).
We will be back to stay again!

The house is in a beautiful natural environment, between a lake and a river. The apartment is very well equipped, it lacks no detail. The host is very friendly and available to solve any problem.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Amazing experience to sleep in a snow hotel. Staff was extremely helpful and lovely. Everyone we met was very nice and kind. The sleeping bags really are warm! Did not get sick, enjoyed every minute of it! :) The hotel itself is beautiful to visit as well, public sauna was lovely before and after the night at the snow hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The surrounding area great for fun snow activities.
The family igloo, cleanliness and comfort of the whole igloo. Free entrance to the ice hotel for over night guests. The free sledging behind the hotel.
Glass igloos are great, warm, nice view, we didn't have luck to see aurora borealis. Next time I go to ice hotel, when I won't be with little children.
The location was incredible. We stayed in the glass igloos and we loved it, unfortunately we were not able to see the northern lights but there is an aurora alarm in the room that you can turn on. There was a snow festival going on with loads of fun activities. We visited the snow hotel and the themed rooms that were stunning. We tried the sauna as well and had a delicious Finnish dinner at the Kota restaurant. The staff was very nice and welcoming.
The Igloos, we took the very spacious family room. It was clean with all its amenities, and the beds were great. Hundred, and We saw the Aurora too and slept viewing the stars. There was a free sauna, which was good. The private one was too expensive. Hundred, and The stay was comfortable, and with the aurora visible, it was one of the best experiences.
it was in the woods near a lake which was lovely. there were fun things to do at the property so you didn’t have to go elsewhere. The staff were very helpful.
