I can't begin to relay what an unbelievable experience my wife and friends had at Jose Angel' place. The pictures don't do justice to this stunning house beautiful property and surrounding paradise. We only wish we had more time there. As for the host, he is the epitome of Basque hospitality, preparing every day delicious breakfast, taking care of all our needs, instantly answering all our questions and providing useful tips & suggestions. We can't recommend this home enough and hope we get the opportunity to return one day.

The Arriaga 2 is a gem. I stayed here as a solo traveller on the camino- but it perfect for several people. The art is amazing and the owner is super helpful.

The house was lovely ! Very well maintained with lots of character and taste, it has gone through the ages without any worry thanks to the good care of its very kind owners. Aulestia is perfectly located, it's a central point in the Basque country allowing to visit many places from there. The people their are very friendly, don't hesitate to go for a drink at the local pub !

Hotel located in a secluded area in the middle of the Basque mountains but close enough to key locations. The rooms were spacious and with character. Staff was super friendly and helpful. As there is no bar or restaurant, guests are allowed to bring their own food and drinks and use it in the communal hotel facilities, which is very convenient. There is also free hot drinks and cakes (baked onsite) in the reception area. The hotel has super views and its a great place to hideaway and rest after a busy day visiting the sourrunging areas. Have I mentioned breakfast.... OMG! Soooo nice and abundant. All fresh, bread made on site, freshly squeezed orange juice and an amazing variety to enjoy a traditional Basque/Spanish breakfast. We'll definitely come back.
