Casa Carlota is a beautiful old house set in a lovely historic area with narrow lanes, stone walls and wonderful views to the sea. Angela is very welcoming and helpful, we enjoyed a delicious dinner that she had cooked. We accompanied her and her dog on a beautiful sunset walk around her neighbourhood - her family have lived here for hundreds of years. We are walking the Camino and this was a perfect place to relax and recuperate.

Our host Angela did everything to help us. She offered to pick us up from the camino, saving us a 1km uphill walk. She offered to drive us to a restaurant or make us a meal, which we happily accepted. She has a house that has belonged to her family for a long time with good ocean views. It's possible to wash clothes, and there is a cute dog. It was a little cold when we arrived, even though it was May, so Angela turned the heating on and supplied us with blankets. She is really a hostess who goes out of her way to help pilgrims.

Angela was a warm, friendly and welcoming host. Access to a nearby local supermarket and restaurants was facilitated by Angela’s offer to drive us there and back. It was in a lovely quiet relaxing hilltop location on the Camino track with beautiful views across gardens to the ocean. A unique home away from home experience and we were treated like family.

Absolutely outstanding in every way. I have traveled the world and am very picky. Angelic, the hostess and owner lives in the home that has been in her family for 250 years. Wonderful setting with the ocean view in front and the mountains in back. We all dined at a local seafood restaurant that was affordable and delicious.

This is a perfectly nice and functional albergue, has everything that pilgrims might need for their journey. It's nice that there is a full kitchen and paid laundry. The terrace has awesome views and the gas station mini store right across the street has a good selection of groceries, for the size. Very clean and fresh feeling.
