Excellent place to stay on Camino del Norte, we had the upstairs suite and it was beautiful, very comfortable. The owner is so lovely and accommodating- she even recognised us when we were out walking around the town.
Surrounded by nature in El Escobal, Valle la Fuente guest house offers a garden, a terrace a games room and a library. Niembru Beach is 15 minutes’ drive away.

Villalen is a nice family-run small hotel with something like 6..8 rooms. Breakfast is somewhat minimalistic -croissants, coffee, butter, but inexpensive, need to pay separately, 5eur per person. The location was great, close to the beach and the famous Buffones de Pria.

The breakfast was wonderful. Lot's of variety and good value for the money. The hotel texted us the evening menu early in the day so we could decide if we wanted to have dinner at the hotel. The food was very good and they offered vegetarians options. The property is gorgeous with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The staff made us feel welcome and offered great advice on things to do in the Asturias region. It is a family friendly hotel, not a romantic getaway destination.
La Montana Magica is a beautiful rural hotel, very animal and environmental friendly. A family business with a lot of heart. The food was delicious and local, the staff gave us a lot of advices for our stay. We (and our dog) had great days and won’t be the there for the last time. If you love nature and animals and a wonderful garden you will not be disappointed :)
