Hotel El Cerco, hotel in Uterga

This 12th-century tower is located in the mediaeval walled town of Puente la Reina, in Navarra.

Located in the centrally. Small single room but very clean and with air-con and heating. Gentleman who runs the hotel was very friendly. Nice touch to give a welcome drink upon arrival after a long day on the Camino.

Hotel Castillo de Gorraiz&Spa, hotel in Uterga

This refined 4-star hotel combines the tranquillity of this setting, with elegance and sophistication. It boasts a privileged location that unites tradition, history and quality of life.

This hotel has improved since my last visit in May 2023, but it still needs more work to bring it back to its former glory e.g. circa 2019.

Hotel Luze El Toro, hotel in Uterga

Pamplona El Toro Hotel & Spa is a rustic-style building in the Navarra countryside just 3.5 km from Pamplona Train Station. It has a garden.

We have stayed in this hotel before and we will stay here again whenever the opportunity arises. It is on the outskirts of Pamplona and has lots of car spaces. There are new EV charge stations but due to a technical problem there were not connected when we were there. We did manage to charge our EV as the hotel has one or two existing chargers. Although the hotel is 10-15 minutes drive away from the centre of Pamplona that, in my opinion, is not a problem as Pamplona is not the most attractive of Spanish cities.

You willl be greated by the most active and pleasant spanish women I have met who willl show you the ropes and explain to you how things are working in the acomodation. The place is amazing, located în a wine house with more than 300 years of history, clean and tidy. Ask '' por favor '' a tour of the place. The services are faultless and without any inconvenience! And please visit the two little vilages in wich you willl be a surprised guest. Don't forget to ask for the breakfast. You willl decide if was worth it or not. Dont thank me, just enjoy!

The best stay of my trip so far. Christopher and his niece go the extra mile for all their guests. nothing seems to be a problem. the bunk room though large was super comfortable and surprisingly not over hot, in fact I slept like a baby for the first time in ages. Huge garden with hammocks and lounge chairs. excellent dinner.
