The place is clean, food is excellent, and the staff is superb. The place is a bit out of the main city so not much to do unless you drive to the city, about 10-15 minutes drive. At the same time, that’s good because it is very quite and peaceful. Will come back for sure.

This is a fabulous small hotel, a home for over 300 years which still retains all it’s traditional features. It is like stepping back in time into a previous era. The staff are friendly, there is secure parking and it is perfectly positioned for exploring Astorga, an easily walkable town, to view all the sights of which there are many. This is probably my best stay out of all stays of my pilgrimage. Very spacious accommodation, everything is clean and tidy with hypoallergenic bed materials. The staff on reception is friendly and welcoming. My accommodation also had a bathtub which is priceless for a pilgrim.
