We were really impressed with this hotel. The staff are excellent and the facilities are extremely clean. We loved the pool and the gym is very well equipped. You do pay extra to use the spa but it was worth it. On one day it rained in the morning but there is a lovely terrace where we sat undercover. The breakfast was excellent and there was an extensive choice. We ate in the restaurant on 2 nights which was very good. There is a gorgeous little beach a short drive away with stunning views from a footpath through the woods, which we loved and had a great bar/restaurant.
In a large garden of one hectare is Son de Mar, a hotel that invites you to rest and calm, to the contemplation of nature.

Our hosts, Aida and David, are a very nice couple. Both did all they could to make us feel great. They called us before our arrival to help us plan our trip, as well as during our stay. We saw and ate things that only locals can tell.
The room was very clean and well designed with an artistic touch. The rural view of the hills from the large windows is outstanding.
The breakfast was tasty and even the juice was freshly squeezed.
We wish we had more days to stay here.

The host has really detailed instructions for how to get there and for what to see in the area, which are very handy because it's quite remote and you need to build your route smart in order to see the most of it. It was an interesting experience arriving to the accommodation and finding out that it's one street with only 3-4 houses and a dozen of cats on top of a mountain. We really enjoyed our breakfast and the clever selection of ham/cheese. The house is very authentic and we glad to have experienced that during our visit to Asturias.
