The personal is extremely nice and is ready to help you with whatever you need. The chambers and common parts are extremely clean, to the point where you can eat from the floor. The hotel is cozy, calm, and dog friendly. Plus, you can have meals in place, which is handy for when you are too tired to search for a restaurant. The best of all is that this whole package comes at affordable prices.
The cherry on top of the cake is that we had an issue with our toilet (it didn't flush). Problems can always happen, anywhere, but the important is how the staff reacts to them. As soon as I warned the staff, they immediately proposed me to change rooms. I told them it wasn't necessary, and I just needed a bucket to collect water -- I didn't want to move my luggage. Then they asked permission to fix the toilet, which they did in a quick and tidy fashion. Honestly, I don't remember ever having a staff so ready to make you feel comfortable. I couldn't recommend this place enough!
Palacio De Trasvilla is in Escobedo De Villafufre, in the Cantabrian countryside, a 30-minute drive from Santander Airport. It features an outdoor pool, and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi.

Posada La Capía is located just outside Vargas, next to Cabarceno National Park, 8.5 km from Torrelavega. This country house has a garden and rustic rooms with a TV and a private bathroom.

The house is in a small hamlet in the middle of the countryside - very peaceful. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful.They sent us detailed instructions with photos of how to get to the property which was excellent.
Located on the Santiago Pilgrimage Route, this mountain-style house is a restored mansion from the 17th century. Posada Real La Montañesa offers spectacular views of the surrounding grounds.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Location good but really noisy! Many kids playing outside every night until 1am. Poor cleaning. Poor and very limited kitchen equipment.
The host never communicated with us. Just a lady in the store below (she was very nice) but the host dis not show up or sent a standard welcome message.
We came to be relatively close to Santander, close to the pre-historic caves, relatively close to the beaches...but got WAY MORE than we bargained for. THE LODGING WAS EXCEPTIONALLY WELL LOCATED, CHARMING, HISTORIC, GREAT VIEWS, SUPER QUIET & RELAXING. MY FAMILY AND LOVED IT. WE WILL RETURN.
The host was a true gentleman & left no good host gesture undone. Made us feel at home.
