The apartment is very spacious, the interior is interesting, the location is quite convenient. In general, a beautiful, comfortable, modern, spacious, clean apartment.

We came to stay at the Aparthotel Cal Marcal as we had a friends wedding in the area. The property was very clean with a nice pool and was a comfortable walk into town. The staff were so kind, helpful and attentive. It’s a small local hotel and had a lovely restaurant attached - it feels very welcoming. There’s a couple of great restaurants in town also and Puig Reig is a perfect area for wildlife walks and a proper hiking holiday…Even more reason to visit and stay at this very nice hotel!

This is a very comfortable property which is even nicer than the photos suggest. The two beds were super comfortable and the facilities excellent for us. We liked the walk in shower. The location is great - close to Berga and the road network but very quiet. The hosts were very nice and breakfast delicious.

Sergio the host could not have been more friendly and helpful. He explained everything about the apartment which was wonderful,a lovely log fire too. I could not have been happier. A nice, peaceful location. Bring your own groceries if eating in as there are no shops in the village.

This hotel is exceptional and we were beyond delighted by every aspect of our stay. The owner personally greeted us in the car park when we arrived, introduced himself with warmth and kindness and helped us inside with our luggage. Immediately we knew we had arrived at a first class hotel. And it only got better. Our room was spacious and modern and full of added extras like a microwave, fridge, cutlery, chilled water, chocolates, slippers, robes… I could go on! Another bonus of this swish and sophisticated hotel is a modern and sleek indoor spa pool surrounded by beautiful gardens… so clean both inside and out you could eat your dinner off the floor. In fact the entire hotel is so clean and fresh and well cared for it’s hard to find fault in anything including the dining areas both inside and out. The staff ensure everything is sparkling. The service we got from this family run hotel was so good that we were so sorry we had not discovered it sooner! We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast on the veranda overlooking the valley and what a view! However the sight of our breakfast was hard to ignore either. So tasty and so much food for an excellent price. In fact it is the best value breakfast and tastiest we had during our two week vacation. Eggs, yoghurt, fresh orange juice and fruit, meats, cheese, bread, bacon… it went on and on! In fact we got so much we didn’t need lunch! Please give this hotel a try if you are in this area. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for having us. You are wonderful hosts with a superb hotel and excellently run with guests always put first.
