This is a Parador on a monumental scale with two exceptionally grand staircases, a Gothic chapel, a substantial gallery round a courtyard and beautifully panelled ceilings (some original, some restored). As Paradors go, the room was smaller than the average one but it was extremely comfortable and had a mini-sala. Reception was top class and very helpful.

A fantastic place to stay in Plasencia, only a five minute stroll from Plaza Mayor, quiet and away from the noise. The apartment is very well appointed and it is spacious. We received a very warm welcome, too. Our bicycles were safely parked in a private underground garage belonging to a café run/owned by the same family. Overall a really positive experience.

The location is very good, in a quiet location but 10-15min walking from the city center, and with a supermarket across the street.
Parking was on the street, sometimes we had to park a few blocks away, but there was always a spot somewhere and we didn't consider this an issue.

The staff at this hotel are truly fantastic, we had a family emergency with our parents in hospital. The hotel staff went out of there way to be accommodating and assist in any way they could. There support and kindness was above and beyond and we are truly grateful.
This Hostal is easy to find, on the main Avenida de Salamanca, very sociable with people eating, drinking and chatting in the cafeteria area at the front. Within walking distance of the Plaza Mayor. Our room had aircon and double glazing so it was comfortable and quiet even with an all night party and funfair a kilometre away during their Feria. The staff were friendly and helpful. Free parking and breakfast is included in the price.

This is our second stay at Exe Alfonso and we again had a very pleasant experience. Easy parking availability, the location of the hotel and the size of the family room was just perfect. Clean hotel with a friendly staff. Breakfast was also lovely too. Would definitely stay here again.
