We are two self-catering 70+ year olds from Australia travelling around Portugal and Spain in a hire car for a couple of months. We stayed for one night in a bungalow for 4 adults – number 7.
We had a bed, somewhere to cook a lovely hot shower, & a great reverse cycle air conditioner/heater which kept us snug. We had no bedding or towels so had asked to hire them. We weren’t charged. We didn’t have matches to light the gas cooker but reception gave us a box.
There were 4 welcome chocolates on the table.
