We (two married couples) stayed at Remanso for two nights in April. Everything about our stay at the location was delightful. The views from the rooms and terrace are breathtaking and the whole atmosphere is utterly peaceful. There are nice paved walking paths that go up into the mountains and around the village that provided peaceful and relaxing recreation. The staff catered to our every need with a smile. We ate three meals each day at the restaurant downstairs and enjoyed a great variety of traditional regional dishes and soups. They served me the best steak I ate in Spain. (Fantastic!) The lake trout was also exceptional. My wife really enjoyed the sopa castellana. The bed was firm and comfortable. The shower always had plenty of hot water and good pressure.

The location of this casa rural is amazing. Mountain views, plenty of hiking trails, cute cats passing every morning to play in the woods and a big garden to relax in. The cleanliness of the house is next level, the owners really do a great job in keeping the place tidy. They are also very responsive before, during and after your stay. Highly recommended if you consider spending time in the Sierra de Gredos area (which is a hidden gem in itself)
