Swimming pool, the size of our room and cleanliness. They did serve dinner after 8.30pm which makes a long day for a pilgrim but they had a huge function earlier, so fairly sure not the usual times.

The apartment was excellent and offered a load of goodies and products. Beds very comfortable and while right in the heart of Léon was lovely and quiet at night. Diego kept in contact to ensure our safe arrival. It was a 3 min walk to the Cathedral.

I have rented many apartments over the last 20 or so years and this one is without doubt the best I have ever stayed in. It's spacious and bright, elegant and modern with a spacious terrace and a comfortable sitting area. The apartment is well equipped with two bathrooms, excellent cooking facilities and modern fridge. Everything is fitted out to a very high standard.
There is a good large supermarket within 5 minutes walk which will provide anything you are likely to need and a twice weekly open air food market in Plaza Mayor. The area is also well stocked with bars and restaurants for those who prefer to eat out.
The apartment is located at the edge of the old town with the exquisite Cathedral, Gaudi's Casa Bottines and the Basilica de San Isidro with wonderful frescoes. The Plaza Mayor and the Barrio Humedo are a short walk away which is where you will find many of the restaurants and bars.
There is a lovely walk along the river that can take you to the spectacular Convento San Marcos and the Iglesia de Nuestra Senora del Mercado is also a nice walk through the old town. The railway and bus stations are only 15 minutes walk away for trips out of Leon.
We were very happy and wish we could have stayed longer.
