A delightful guesthouse in the rural outskirts of Gijon, with the perfect welcoming and helpful host, Cristina. We had a beautiful room with views over the town to the sea.
Breakfast was superb with a wide variety of delicious food, orange juice and tea or coffee.
Whilst the guest house is in a beautiful and peaceful rural setting, it is only an easy 7 minute drive to the town centre.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
We had a wonderful stay with Juan, at Finco el Palomar. We were treated like family. The accommodation was superb - wonderfully comfortable and private. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were amazing. And the views over the town and sea were beautiful.
From the moment we arrived we were given the warmest welcome and were treated like family. The rooms are stunning with breathtaking views of Luanco. The property is not only spotlessly clean it smells so fresh too. Really comfy beds and strong showers. Followed by a fabulous breakfast the next morning.
We liked the location, the views were beautiful. Juan and Suzanna were fantastic, very nice and helpful. Definitely going to take the full family next year.
The função stays over the village with the best view to the sea and the surroundings. The sun rises in front of the windows everyday and Juan is always there to provide a great breakfast and good conversation. I chose this place for the New Year’s Eve and it was the best place to close the old year and start the new one.
