This property is a great place to go with your dog, they are warmly welcomed and allowed to roam around without leash but under supervision of course. There is a full bar and proper coffee served, breakfast is basic but the orange juice is fresh. There is a front courtyard with umbrellas and the rear courtyard and I'll point the main house sits on a lot of land which is great to walk around with your dog. There is a big swimming pool out back and fairly private. Our host recommended a restaurant in Luintra called Restaurante O Campanario and it was fantastic, it's run by an Irishman and his wife for 30 years.

This house is little piece of heaven! It is completely renovated and every room is decorated in a lovely way. You can see this place means a lot to the owners and everything is done with so much love and care. The house is spotless. Towels, bedding everything is new and of good quality. There are 4 bedrooms, big living and even a bigger outside space. They made different seats outside in different places so you can always find a spot to sit in the shade or sun. And then we have the swimming pool!! Best place to cool down after a hot summer day.
The owners are absolutely lovely and caring. They really want you to enjoy your stay and have tons of recommendations.

This is a very special and unique home , and I felt very privileged to have been able to stay there.
The building is impressive, steeped in history and in the most gorgeous location.
William and Juan- Carlos are both very welcoming and helpful, and my room, with it's copper bath and four poster bed, was delightful.
Breakfast was a great experience too...home made cake and locally made jams and great bread, croissants yoghurt...eggs , bacon if desired.
I hope to return as it was magical

The location was great for me on the way to Portugal. The property is beautiful and the room was superb. The staff didn't really speak English but we managed just fine. Secure parking for my motorcycle was a must and this delivered. There is a lack of facilities in this town and I wasn't able to get an evening meal but I managed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
