We had trouble with our car and they were fantastically helpful. We stayed an extra night and they cooked for us even though it was a day that the restaurant was closed. Many thanks to Maria and Paul- great Chef and kind owner🥭

The Kitchen very good and for the area fair price. Very nice staff, the room was ok but very simple, not a plus 100euro room, compare to the area, the price should around 60 euro. But I could get no breakfast, i got a cup coffe, it was at 7. 00, there was a lot of noise untill 03.00 and starting again at 05.00 when the first group of guest left,with a very noisy attitude, shouting ond slamming doors

The Hotel far exceeded our expectations. The Hotel generally is superb, yet small ( boutique ), and attention to details extremely well thought through. Rooms were spacious and thought had been put into the design and furnishings. The staff were informative and engaging and the food was excellent. We will definitely stay at la Fornal again !!!

we are walking the GR11 and were running late due to a misread of our map. the hotel stayed open til we arrived and had a drink of water ready for us. they took our dinner menu and had the meal ready when we came back down. the chef is an artist. his wife and child made us feel so welcome.
I have been going here for 25 years the food the team I have had the pleasure of watching this family grow.
